Lori Mitchell

Lori Mitchell graduated with honors and a BFA from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. Lori’s work has been featured in juried exhibitions throughout California. She taught Drawing and Composition at Palomar College for 14 years and currently teaches Pen & Ink and Watercolor at the Athenaeum in La Jolla and Barrio Logan. Lori illustrated 10 picture books including the award winning Different Just Like Me, which was featured on the Oprah show. She has also taken students on sketching tours in France and the Netherlands.
